meet our all-plastic tubes. what makes them so tube-rific? unlike traditional tubes that can contain metal or other hard-to-recycle materials, ours are made with multiple all-plastic layers and no metal barrier. even better, it’s made with #2 HDPE, a plastic widely accepted by recycling facilities. pretty tubular, if we do say so ourselves.
- plastic squeeze tubes haven’t always had an easy path through the recycling system. for packaging to have a next life, it needs to be properly sorted, and there needs to be demand for that recycled material once it’s processed. that’s where manufacturers like us come in. by purchasing post-consumer recycled plastic, we help create demand for recycled materials and keep them moving back into the marketplace instead of going to waste.
- we’re working with industry partners and supporting Stina's (you can learn more about them here) journey to recyclability for plastic squeeze tubes to help give tubes a better next life. together, we’re partnering to update national recycling guidelines so all-plastic tubes designed for recyclability can be accepted alongside other #2 HDPE plastics. the goal is to help more of this material get recycled, resold, and put back to use in the marketplace, keeping valuable plastic in circulation for longer.
- recycling tips & tricks: when you’re done with your tube, make sure all the product is completely gone. a little leftover is a-okay, but why not use up your product before recycling, right? once that’s checked, make sure your tube has the #2 HDPE sign on it and is 3 oz or larger. and finally, it’s important to triple check your local waste/recycling facility website to see if they accept and recycle tubes made of #2 HDPE plastic. because these new tubes are still new, not all facilities have agreed to accept them yet. if all signs point to yes, then you’re ready to recycle!

most shipments typically arrive at your door within 3-7 business days of placing your order. you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number when your order has been picked up by our carrier. deliveries may take longer during times of high demand or inclement weather.

how do I recycle an all-plastic tube?
we are sad to say we cannot ship to the oh-so-beautiful but oh-so-far-away alaska, hawaii, and puerto rico at this time.
assuming I found out the all-plastic tubes are accepted for recycling by my local recycler, what happens to my recyclable tubes once I put them in my curbside bin?
